Mihm, Margaret "Marge" nee Hauer 1922 - 2002ST. LUCAS - Margaret "Marge" Mihm, 79, died Thursday, March 14, 2002 at the Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital, Decorah after a long illness. A Funeral Mass was held 11 a.m. Monday, March 18 at St. Luke's Catholic Church, St. Lucas with Rev. Joseph Hauer as Celebrant and Rev. Marvin Salz as Concelebrant. Music was provided by Jeanette Dietzenbach as organist accompanying Colleen Busta as soloist. Lector was Rick Mihm and Duane Boyer and Kevin Boyer were mass servers. Gift bearers were Audrey Drilling, Darlene Schwamman and Janice Dodge. Interment was in St. Luke's Cemetery, St. Lucas with Brandon Daniels, Brad Ridout, Brian Mihm, Marcus Daniels, Austin Mihm, Craig Kuehner and Colin Mihm as allbearers. Honorary pall-earers were Clarence Schwamman, Roger Bulgren, Daryl Drilling, Merlin Klem-mer, Jim Perry and Jim Hauer. Visitation was held at the Burnham Wood Funeral Home, West Union on Sunday, March 17 from 3-8 p.m. with a 4 p.m. Rosary and 7 p.m. Scripture Service. Margaret was born Nov. 1, 1922 at St. Lucas, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Drilling) Hauer. She attended St. Luke's Catholic School. On Sept. 11, 1943 she was united in marriage to Mark Mihm at St. Luke's Catholic Church, St. Lucas. She lived in St. Lucas where she and her husband operated Mark's Jewelry Store and the Whitehouse Supper Club. She was a member of St. Luke's Rosary Society, American Legion Auxiliary and Catholic Daughters of America. Survivors include her husband, Mark; two sons, Tom (Inez Ann) Mihm, Eagan, MN and Steve (Jacque) Mihm, Lakeville, MN; three daughters, Nancy Daniels, Stewart-ville, MN, Mary Pat (Tom) Ridout, Calmar and Jann (John) Kuehner, St. Lucas; one brother, Edmund (Mary) Hauer, St. Lucas; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; four brothers, Conrad, William, Arthur and Gregory Hauer and two sisters, Clara Bulgren and Agnes Klemmer.
