NASHUA -- Jerry Lynn McMichael, 65, Nashua and formerly of Storm Lake and Waterloo, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002 at Convenant Medical Center in Waterloo of natural causes.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 11 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Nashua.

Visitation was Tuesday, Jan. 29 from 4-8 p.m. at Chenoweth & Son Funeral Home in Nashua and one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Jerry Lynn McMichael was born Dec. o, 1936 in Dallas, TX, the son of William and Llizabeth (Dickey) McMichael. He married Joyce Gloria in Oakland, CA on March 8, 1958. He graduated from Northwest Texas, Amarillo, TX and the Letterman School of Anesthesia, U.S. Army, San Francisco, CA. Jerry served with the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1959 and with the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1972. He was employed at St. Francis Hospital in Waterloo for nine years, Buena Vista County Hospital, Storm Lake, for 12 years, retiring in 1996. Jerry was a Board member ot Comprehensive bystems in Charles City and a member of the A AN A. He enjoyed playing golf and traveling.

Surviving are his wife, Joyce, Nashua; a daughter, Deb Ketels, Waterloo; two sons, David McMichael, Charles City, Glenn McMichael, Nashua; five grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were a son, William McMichael; his parents.
