Memorial services for Alvin Leuthauser of Bella Vista, AR will be held at 10;00 a.m. today, Wednesday, March 6 at the Bella Vista Community Church in Bella Vista with Rev. Richard Lindman officiating. Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the arrangements.

Alvin, 83, died Saturday, March 2, 2002 at Bates Medical Center in Bentonville, AR.

Alvin Charles Leuthauser was bom January 23, 1919 in Fontanelle, the son of Alfred and Martha (Ziegler) Leuthauser.

He moved to Bella Vista 12 years ago from Omaha, NE.

He is survived by his wife Jean of Bella Vista; one son: Rick of Bettendorf; one daughter: Susan Leuthauser of Yankton, SD; two grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; one step great-grandchild; three brothers: Alfred of Portland, OR, Lee of Ankeny, and Dean of Portland, OR; and one sister: Fern Porter of Bend, OR.

Alvin was preceded in death by his first wife Miriam who died July 28, 1986; his parents; and one brother: Marion.
