Services held for Madeline Johnson of Westmont were held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 12 at the Toon Funeral Home in Westmont with Rev. Ron Greene officiating. Interment was in Clarendon Hills Cemetery Darien, IL.

Madeline, 88, died Tuesday, September 10, 2002 at her home.

Madeline M. Johnson was born June 30, 1914 in Preston, MN, the daughter of John and Amanda Weiss. She had managed Burney Bros. Bakery (Downers Grove).

She was a member of First United Methodist Church ip Westmont.

She loved gardening, flowers, and crafts.^

She is survived by her husband Virgil; one daughter: Virginia Leif-heit of Yorkville; two sons: Michael of Westmont and Virgil, Jr. of Muskego, WI; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister: Leona Berg of Elgin.

. Madeline was preceded in death by her parents.
