Martha A. Fox, 68, of Columbus, Neb. died at the Columbus Community Hospital in Columbus, on Saturday, April 20, 2002.

Funeral Services were held Wednesday, April 24, at McKown Funeral Home with Fr. Christopher Grimmond officiating. Burial was at St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Columbus.

Mary was born August 9, 1933 in Cedar Rapids, Neb. to Sylvester and Isabelle (Bogus) Czuba. She was raised in Cedar Rapids before moving to Columbus where she attended St. Anthony Grade School. She attended the Sisters of St. Francis Convent in Colorado Springs, Col. before returning to Columbus where she attended St. Bonaventure High School.

On November 13, 1967 she married Richard Fox in Iowa. The couple lived on a farm outside of Riceville where she was a homemaker. She moved to Columbus in 1987 where she worked part time at Ted’s Tea Room .and Micek’s Shangri-la. She enjoyed sewing and crossword puzzles. She attended St. Anthony’s Church

Mary is survived by a son, Dave Czuba, and brother, Alfred Czuba, both of Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three brothers, Paul, Ralph and Sylvester, Jr.; and one sister, Rosemary in infancy.
