Funeral services for Larry Caughron of Waterloo will be held at 10:30 a.m. today, Wednesday, August 21 at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church in Waterloo with Rev. David Moore officiating. Interment will be privately held at Garden of Memories in Waterloo. Parrott Wood Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Larry, 65, died Sunday, August 18, 2002 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo of a heart attack.

Larry Cecil Caughron was born December 2 1936 in Waterloo, the son of Cecil and Lexcey (Watson) Caughron. Larry was raised in Waterloo and as a young man joined the US Marine Corps.

On November 19, 1955 he married Mary Tovar and they made their home in Waterloo. He was an employee of John Deere, retiring in 1995 after 30 years.

He is survived by wife Mary; three daughters:! TJwti¹ Hansdrl I of Waterloo, Th^rftsa X^nnant o£.Sjilvas, IL, and Lori Cowell of Sparta, MI; 10 grandchildren; and two stepsisters: Donna Mulkey of North Bend, OR and Connie Albertson of Cresco.

Larry was preceded in death by one daughter: Vicki; and his parents.
