On January 17, 2002 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston, Tex., the heavens opened up and the angels took one of God's greatest, Doug Moby Carlson, 47, of Pasadena, Tex.

Doug was born October 28, 1954 in Forest City, Iowa. He graduated from Forest City High School and spent two years in the Army. He and his wife Judy Cummings moved to Texas in 1982 and were married September 5, 1987. Doug was employed at Cowell Electric.    ,

He leaves behind the love of his life, wife Judy ; daughters and greatest pride, Emily Carlson and Nicole Klein; and grandpa's boy, Jonathan Klein; and sisters, Wanda Schnebly of California and Caroline Kox of Forest City, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.

He loved playing Santa Claus,- was an active member of Sunset Methodist Church, senior high MYF counselor and dearly loved all his girls in his Sunday School class.

Services were at Sunset Methodist Church in Pasadena, Tex., with interment at Grand View Memorial Park. Nephews were pall bearers.
