Funeral services for Lula Brewer of St. Albans, WV were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 19 at Gatens Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dorris Walls officiating. Interment was in Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens, Red House.

Lula, 61, died Thursday, May 16, 2002 at home.

Lula G. Brewer was born July 31, 1940 the daughter of Warren R. Wade and Lena R. (Hensley) Wade.

She was a member of TOPS WV 395, St. Albans, and KOPS Blue and Gold Key Society.

She is survived by one daughter: Patricia A.* Ennis of Pennsauken, NJ; one son: James Jr. of Scott Depot; three grandsons; one step-grandson; four sisters: Lena Skenes of Burlington, NC, Linda Maxwell of Richlands, NC, Brenda Kay Douglas of Cresco, and Betty Jo Fountain of Richlands, NC; two brothers: James of Scott Dept and Warren of Jacksonville, NC.

Lula was preceded in death by her husband James N. Brewer Sr.; and her parents.
