Weigel, DeeAnn nee Dallman 1952 - 2001NEW HAMPTON -- DeeAnn Weigel, 49, New Hampton, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001 at her home from cancer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, New Hampton with Rev. Carl Schmitt celebrating the mass. Music for the service will be provided by Ann Bennett as organist, the St. Mary's Choir and Travis Bouska as cantor. The funeral pall will be placed on the casket by her husband, children and mother. The lectors for the mass are Janell Nelson, Jody Weigel and Sr. Lois Erpelding. Mass Servers are Kyle Bouska and Anthony Campbell. The offertory gifts will be presented by Doris Dallman, Dixie Schnieder and Dawn King. Interment is in St. Mary's Cemetery with Bob Weigel, Vern Laures, Tom Rosonke, Dean Campbell, Bernie Schnieder ana Doug Dallman as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Irene Weigel, LaVonne Rosonke, Jean Laures, Paula Rosonke, Lynn Campbell, Rita Roberson, Peg Brummond and Nancy Lee. Visitation was 3-9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17 at Hugeback Funeral Home, New Hampton where there was a 4 p.m. Rosary, a 6:30 p.m. Scripture Service and a 7 p.m. Video Memorial Tribute. DeeAnn was bom Dec. 3,1952 in Estherville, the daughter of Dick and Doris (Marlow) Dallman. She graduated from New Hampton High School in 1971. On Oct. 7, 1972 she married Mike Weigel at St. Mary's Catholic Church, New Hampton. DeeAnn worked at Sara Lee for over 29 years during which she was involved with various areas of production. After the plant closing in 2000 she began working for the Donaldson Co., Cresco until January of this year. DeeAnn enjoyed making crafts, including handmade quilts. She also enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, reading and spending time with family and friends at the river. She was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Rosary Society. Survivors include her husband, Mike; one son, Ryan Weigel, New Hampton; one daughter, Kristi Weigel, New Hampton; her mother, Doris Dallman, New Hampton; two sisters, Dixie (Bernie) Schnieder, New Hampton and Dawn (Darrin) King, Lawler and one brother, Doug (Jean) Dallman, New Hampton. Preceding her in death was her father, Dick Dallman, in 1990.
