Services were held for Harold F. Scott, 68, of Des Moines, Iowa on Tuesday, August 14, at Brooks Funeral Care, in Clive Iowa, with cremation following the service.

Harold died at Mercy Medical Center - Des Moines, Iowa on Tuesday, August 10, due to complications of cancer.

Harold was born in Hannibal, Missouri. He served in the US Navy in Korea. Harold had lived in Des Moines, Iowa since 1969, where he was a salesman for Des Moines Chrysler Plymouth. Harold enjoyed golf, computers and fishing.

Harold is survived by his wife Margaret; two daughters, Cindy Bentley, West Des Moines, Iowa, Becky Haltom of Des Moines, Iowa; three sons, Mike of Dallas, Texas, Doug of Van Meter, Iowa and Dave of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; 10 grandchildren; two brothers, Strother Scott of Lady Lake, Florida, Roger Scott of Ottumwa, Iowa; two sisters, Susan Scott of West Des Moines, Iowa and Mary Wagner, of Dayton Ohio; and a step-mother, Elaine Scott of West Des Moines, Iowa.
