PEARSON, Rosalie "Robe" Emma nee AMENT 1922 - 2001IOWA FALLS - Rosalie "Robe" E. Pearson, 78, Iowa Falls died WEdnesday, Sept. 5, 2001 at the New Hampton Nursing and Rehab Center, New Hampton of pancreatic cancer. A Mass of Resurrection will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11 at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Iowa Falls, with Father John Barnes officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10 at Linn's Funeral Home, Iowa Falls, where the family will receive friends between the hours of 6 and 7:30 p.m. There will be a Scripture Service at 7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Rosalie "Robe" Emma Ament was born June 27, 1922 in Camanche, the daughter of Leo J. and Lena (Woestemeier) Ament. She graduated from Saint Patrick's Catholic School, Cedar Rapids. On Aug. 27, 1943 she was united in marriage with Earl R. Pearson at Pine Camp, N.Y. She was a housewife and mother, a member of St. Jo Annes Circle and the Ellsworth Municipal Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, baking and was an avid golfer. Surviving are her husband, 'Earl, Iowa Falls; three daughters, Paula (Steve) Dahl, New Hampton, Pam Pearson, Waterloo and Polly (Mike) O'Donell, Orange, CA; two sons, Patrick (Sunny) Pearson, Phoenix, AZ and Pierre (Kris) Pearson, New Hampton; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Don Ament and John Ament, Cedar Rapids and two sisters, Deloras Burger, Cedar Rapids and Lois Kudrisa, Center Point. Preceding her in death were her parents, Leo and Lena Ament; three brothers and three sisters.
