NEW HAMPTON - Jerry (Jeri) O'Connor, 76, New Hampton, died Monday evening, Oct. 22, 2001 at the University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City after a lengthy illness.

A Memorial Mass was held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in New Hampton with Rev. Philip Recker of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Osage as celebrant. Rev. David Pepper, Lawler con-celebrated. Lector was Joe Scally and the offertory gifts were presented by Mike and Linda Kennedy. Music for the service was provided by Sister Lorraine Loecher as organist and the St. Joseph Resurrection Choir.

Private Family Interment will take place at a later date.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the servite at the church. Arrangements by Huge-back Funeral Home, New Hampton.

Jeri was born March 15, 1925 in St. Paul, MN, the daughter of Alec and Fatima Hager. She was united in marriage June 17, 1957 to James F. O'Connor at Notre Dame. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Rosary Society and National and State Button Collection Society.

Survivors include her husband, Jim, New Hampton; two sons, Mike O'Connor, San Antonio, TX and Pat (Amy) O'Connor, Lee's Summit, MO; three grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph Hager, Brighton, England and John Hager, Casper, WY.

Preceding her in death were her parents.
