EVANSDALE - Georgianna M. Lang, 74, Evansdale, died Saturday, March 3, 2001 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo of natural causes.

Funeral services were l p.m. Tuesday, March 6 at Garden View Chapel, Waterloo.

Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo.

Visitation was 11 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at Kearns Funeral Home in Waterloo.

Georgianna was born May 12, 1926 in New Hampton, the daughter of George and Clara (Kahn) Edgar. She married Alphonsus Chihak on May 14, 1946 in New Hampton, they later divorced. She married Robert Lang in 1966 in Waterloo.

Surviving are four sons, George, Ronald and Bruce Chihak, all of Waterloo and Mark Lang, Evansdale; three daughters, Rebecca Cummings, Evansdale, Monica Anderson and Marcia Chihak, both of Waterloo; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Adeline .Fenneman . and Clara Louise Carney both of New Hampton, Libby Peters, Fredericksburg.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Robert Lang on Dec. 2, 2000; her parents; a brother, Robert Edgar; three sisters, Alice Schmidt, Lucille Hagedorn and Arlene Robrock.

Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
