HANNEMANN, Paul A. 1915 - 2001NASHUA -- Paul Avery Hannemann, 85, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2001 at the Riverside Guest Home, Charles City. Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Aug. 20 at Chenoweth & Son Funeral Home, Nashua with Rev. John W. Hemann and Pastor David P. Kramer officiating. Interment was in St. Michael's Cemetery, Nashua. Casket bearers were Wayde Henry, Avery Henry, Tom Henry, Mike Hannemann, Matt Hannemann and Ronald Gibson. Paul was bom Oct. 25,1915 in Floyd County, the son of George and Elsie (Todd) Hannemann. He graduated from Orchard High School. He was united in marriage to Marion Katherine Haag at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Nashua on June 7, 1938. They farmed west of Nashua until moving to Nashua in 1986. Paul was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed playing cards with friends and relatives. He and Marion belonged to a neighborhood card club for 50 years. Survivors include his wife, Marion; a daughter, Mary E. Gibson, Wheatland, CA; a son, Tod G. Hannemann, Denver, CO; a daughter-in-law, Jan Hannemann, Nashua; 14 grandchildren and ten greatgrandchildren. Preceding him in death were two sons, Paul A. Hannemann Jr. and Tommy G. Hannemann; two daughters, Deanna M. Green and Judith A. Hannemann; his parents and a brother, Herman Hannemann.
