HACKMAN, Pamela 1953 - 2001NEW HAMPTON - Pamela Hackman, 48, New Hampton, died Monday, May 28, 2001 at Mercy Medical Center-New Hampton of natural causes. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 31 at St. Joseph Catholic Cnurch, New Hampton with Rev. Carl Schmitt officiating. Sr. Lorraine Loecher will be the organist and will accompany the St. Joseph Resurrection Choir and the cantor, Joyce Shatek singing "Be Not Afraid", "Prayer Of St. Francis", "I Am The Bread Of Life" and "On Eagle's Wings". Lectors will be Beth and Gretta Hackman. Mass servers will be Ted and Eric Hackman. Gift bearers will be Michael Hackman, Richard Hackman, Mary Reicherts and Mark Hackman. Beth Hackman and Andrea Reicherts will place the pall. Don Flick will be a Eucharistic Minister. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, New Hampton with David, Shaun, Matthew, Jacob, Nicholas, Chad and Adam Hackman, and Joshua Reicherts serving as casket bearers,. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 30 at Conway Funeral Home, New Hampton, where there will be a 4 p.m. Rosary and 7 p.m. Scripture Service. Visitation will also be an hour prior to services at the church. Pamela Diane Hackman was born Jan. 29, 1953 in New Hampton, the daughter of James and Marlys (Speicher) Hackman. She graduated from New Hampton High School in1972. After her schooling she worked on the family farm, where she lived all of her life. She also spent time babysitting and caring,for the sick and elderly. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Pam enjoyed high school sporting events, fishing, hunting, counted cross-stitch and playing cards.. Survivors include her parents, James and Marlys Hackman, New Hampton; three brothers, Michael (Sue) Hackman, Waucoma, Richard (Jean) Hackman, North Washington and Mark (Dianna) Hackman, Central City; one sister, Mary (Bob) Reicherts, Goodhue, MN; paternal grandmother, Marie Stacia Hack-man and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were one brother, Kenneth Hackman, in 1971; her paternal grandfather, Walter Hackman and maternal grandparents, Earl and Verla Speicher.
