Funeral services for Paul Groteboer of Rochester, MN were held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 27 at Christ United Methodist Church with interment in Oakwood Cemetery both in Rochester. Vine Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Paul Adelbert Groteboer was born December 2, 1911 in Granger, MN, the son of John and Minnie (Ludwig) Groteboer. He grew up and attended school in Granger.

He married Gynith Erickson and together they farmed near Cresco until they moved to Rochester in 1957. Paul worked at IBM until his retirement.

Paul was very active and was employed after his retirement at Billings Hardware and Andy’s until 1999.

He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church for over 44 years.

He is survived by his wife Gynith; two daughters: Beverly Katter of Milwaukee, WI and Mar-lys Kramer of Stewartville, MN; two sons: Merl and Dennis both of Rochester; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Paul was preceded in death by one son: Gary; and his parents.
