CUTSFORTH, Geraldine "Gerri" Grace nee WELLS 1937 - 2001DUNKERTON - Geraldine Grace Cutsforth, 63, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001 at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo following a lengthy illness. Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9 at St. Francis Catholic Church - Barclay, Dunkerton with the Very Rev. Donald P. Schmitt as Celebrant. Music was by Angie Flaucher, organist. Lectors were Tom Cutsforth and Kathy Stevens#. Burial was in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Dunkerton. Casket bearers were Joseph, Joshua and Justin Joens, Jeremy and Michael Cutsforth, Scott Ebert, Casey Crow and Ryan Westemeier. Geraldine was born Jan. 10, 1937 in Clarksville, the daughter of Ralph E. and Katheryn A. (Nemec) Wells. She graduated from Lawler High School in 1955. On May 15, 1956, she was united in marriage to Glenn Vernon Cutsforth at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Lawler. They made their home in Dunkerton the past 40 years. "Gerri" was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church-Barclay, rural Dunkerton and had been active in church activities before her illness. Survivors include four daughters, Glenda (Tracy) Joens, Shannon, IL, Karla (Jon) Widdell, Dunkerton, Lori (Ke-ven) Ebert, Cedar Falls and Lisa Cutsforth, Waterloo; two sons, Larry Cutsforth, Elgin, IL and Daniel (Lynda) Cutsforth, Fairbank; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Marian Randall, Elgin, IL and two brothers, James Wells, Waterloo and Robert Wells, Marengo, IL. Preceding her in death were her husband, Glen, on June 20, 1998; her parents; one grandson, Jason Joens; one brother, Glenn Wells and two sisters, Barbara Condon and another in infancy.
