LESUEUR, MN - Shirley Ann Conway, 72, LeSueur, MN and formerly of: New Hampton, died Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at the Gardenview Nursing Home in LeSueur, MN.

Services were held Monday, April 2 at the Martin-Mattice Funeral Home, Emmetsburg and Tuesday, April 3 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, LeSueur, MN.

Inurnment was in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Emmetsburg.

Shirley Ann Conway, daughter of William J. and _ Elizabeth (Gilman) Korlaske, was born May 16, 1928 in Emmetsburg. She attended St. Ellen's Parochial School and graduated from Emmetsburg High School in 1946. On Nov. 22,1948 Shirley married Donald  F. Conway at St. Thomas Church in Emmetsburg. The couple lived in several locations. While in New Hampton, Shirley was employed at the William J. Kennedy Law Office and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. For the past 18 years, the Conways resided in LeSueur and Shirley was employed part-time by the Anderson Law Office. She was a member of St. Anne’s Church and enjoyed playing cards, watching movies, dancing, listening to music and taking daily walks.

Surviving are her husband, Don, LeSueur, MN; three children, Trudy (Robert) Johnson, Sioux Falls, SD, William John Conway, Hopkin-ton, NH and Jane (Vernon) Albert, Homer, AK; two granddaughters; two sisters, Jean (Tom) Kelly, Fort Dodge and Charlotte (Everett) Lockwood, Algona; two brothers, Orpheus (Marjorie) Korlaske, Emmetsburg and Robert (Doris) Korlaske, Des Moines; a sister-in-law, Loretta Lembke, New Hampton.
