BOUSKA, Norma "Jean" nee SMITH 1939 - 2001CHARLES CITY - Norma Jean Bouska, 61, Charles City, died Sunday, July 29,2001. A Memorial Mass was held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Charles City at 10:30 a.m. on July 31, with Rev. Msgr. Stanley J. Hayek officiating. Evelyn Jensen was organist, accompanying the Immaculate Funeral Choir Interment is at a later date. Norma Jean Smith Bouska (Amy) Bouska, Charles City; 11 was born Oct. 16, 1939 at St. Lucas, the daughter of Milton and Margaret' (Mihm) Smith. She graduated from St. Lucas High School and attended business School.,in Minneapolis. On, May 21, 1960 she married Joseph E. Bouska at St. Lucas. Jean operated Janan's Clothing for All Ages in Charles City for four years. She raised roses, collected angels, plates and figurines. She also enjoyed cross-stitch, going to rummage sales and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and St. Michael's Circle. Surviving are her husband, Joseph Bouska, rural Charles City; a daughter, Jacqueline (Fred) Jenkins, Robbinsdale, MN; two sons, Randy (Tina) Bouska and Steven (Amy) Bouska, Charles City; 11grandchildren; one greatgrandchild; a sister, Ruth Stoltzmann, Scottsdale, AZ; six brothers, Louis and Daniel Smith, Fort Atkinson, Ronald Smith, Rockford, MI, Jerome Sfnith, Fort Collins, CO, Robert Smith, Jonesboro, AR and Kenneth Smith, Springfield, MO. Preceding her in death was her father.
