BENGEN, Ruth A. c1938 - 2001

Services were held for Ruth A. Bengen, 63, of Grundy Center, Iowa, on Wednesday, October 17 at the Lincoln Center Christian Reformed Church near Grundy Center. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery in Aplington, Iowa.

Ruth died of a respiratory ailment on Sunday, October 14, at Grundy Center Memorial Hospital Long Term Care Unit.

Ms. Bengen was born in Shell Rock and had lived in Riceville before moving to Grundy Center about two years ago. She was a member of the Lincoln Center Reformed Church.

She is survived by two sons, Mike of Reinbeck and Todd of Denver, Iowa; a daughter, Michelle Masters of Waterloo; a brother, Gary Frey of Dana Pointe, California; and four grandchildren..
