BALL, Charles L. "Charlie" 1933 - 2001

IONIA - Charles L. (Charlie) Ball, 67, died Wednesday, April 4, 2001 at his home of natural causes.

A Memorial Lunch for family and friends will be held at 12 noon Tuesday, April 10 at the VFW Hall, Charles City. According to his wishes there will be no funeral services or visitation.

Inurnment will be at a later date in Sunnyside Memory Gardens, Charles City.

Charles Lewellyn Ball was born July 12, 1933 in northern Chickasaw County, the son of Albert and Esther (Johnson) Ball. He graduated from Ionia High School in 1951. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He worked in construction most of his life, most recently for Carlson Construction.
