WATERLOO — Irene Douglas. She married Clifford J. Louise Anderson, 68. Waterloo and formerly of New Hampton, died Friday, March 16, 2001 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester, MN of natural causes. 

Services were held at 11 aim. Tuesday, March 20 af Zion Lutheran Church in Waterloo.

Inurnment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation was from 5-8 P.m. Monday, March 19 at Parrott & Wood Family Funeral Care in Waterloo and for an hour before services at the church on Tuesday.

Irene was born March 27, 1932 in Lawler, the daughter of Louis and Josephine (Anderson)Douglas. She married Clifford J. Anderson Dec. 6, 1948 in Nashua. Irene had been employed as a waitress.

Surviving are her husband, Clifford; three sons, Robert, Waterloo, Joseph, Ankeny and Alan, Des Moines; two daughters, Linda Krause, Des Moines and Cynthia Doyle, Parkersburg; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Elaine Johnson, Waterloo.

Preceding her in death were five brothers, Stanley, Maynard, Bernard, Andrew and Lowell Douglas.

Memorials may be directed to St. Mary’s Hospital Cardiac Department, Rochester, MN.
