Funeral services for Bruce Vote of Riceville were held at ,10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 6 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Riceville. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery in Riceville. The Rev. John Moser officiated. Lind-strom Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Bruce, 53, died Saturday, June 3, 2000 at his home of natural causes.

Bruce M. Vote was born February 20, 1947 in Fort Dodge, the son of Clarence and Evelyn (Erickson) Vote. He attended local schools and graduated from Riceville High School in the class of 1966. After graduation Bruce served his country in the Army and was stationed in Vietnam.

On April 11, 1970 he manied Margaret I. Vacko in Dodge Center, MN.

Bruce is survived by his wife Margaret of Riceville; two daughters: Holly Boggess of Runnells, and Heather Johnson of Eden Prairie, MN; one son: James of Story City; three brothers: Bernard, Mer-lyn and Roger all of Riceville; and one sister: Am^a Marie Padget of Waterloo.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother Clarence.
