Services were held Monday at Wayne Baptist Church, Mclntire, Iowa, for Lenora E. Tienken, 91, who died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999 at Colonial Manor in Elma. Iowa.

The Rev. Gary Gilbert officiated at the 1:30 p.m. services. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery at Riceville.

Mrs. Tienken was born Jan. 28,1908 in Mclntire and attended school there. She married Robert M. Tienken July 3, 1924 in Cresco, and the couple farmed in the Riceville area most of their married lives.

He died in 1968, and in 1974 she moved into Riceville, living there until she entered the care center in Elma July 6.

Survivors include a granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

Hindt-Hutchins Funeral Home, LeRoy, was in charge of arrangements.
