Services for Myrtle L. Shirbroun, former LeRoy resident, were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church in LeRoy with the Rev. Steve Elderbrock officiating. Interment was in the LeRoy Cemetery.

Mrs.-Shirbroun, 91, died Thursday evening, March 16, 2000, at Grand Meadow Health Care Center where she had resided for the past three and one-half years.

Myrtle L. Boone was born Nov. 6, 19089, in Winifred, Montana. She married Estel Shirbroun in Carroll, Iowa March 9, 1927, and the couple farmed in the LeRoy area for many years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of LeRoy.

Survivors include a son, Dean, LeRoy; two daughters, Marjorie Mossyge-McCool (Mrs. Bud McCool) and Mary (Mrs. Virgil) Speer, both of LeRoy; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband in June 1964. Also three sisters and two brothers.

Hindt-Hutchins Funeral Home, LeRoy, was in charge of arrangements.
