George W. Mullen, 85WAUCOMA - George W. "Bill" Mullen, 85, Camanche, formerly of Waucoma, died Friday, June 30 at Mercy Medical Center, North Clinton. Funeral services were held July 7 at the Camanche Chapel of Snell-Zomig Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be at Spencer at a later date. He was born March 4, 1915 at Waucoma, the son of Mr. and Mrs.. Claude Mullen. Bill attended the Waucoma Public School, graduating from high school with the Class of 1932. In 1980 he retired after more than 25 years as a millwright for Local #2158, Moline, IL. He had also farmed in northwest Iowa. He married Mildred Rallie. He married Lynn Rogness in 1972. Survivors include his wife, Lynn; sons, Larry, Cedar Rapids and Richard, Dana Point, CA; stepdaughters, Aline Denney, Garden City, KS and Lyndel Marlatt; a stepson, Michael Rogness, Sparks, NV; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Norma Beddow, Ruthven; a brother, Robert Mullen, Emmetsburg.
