Holly Jean Fox was born on December 23, 1956, at Osage Iowa, the daughter of Jerry and Madonna (Showalter) Fox. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in New Haven. She attended school in Riceville and graduated from the Riceville High School in 1975.

After high school Holly attended Northern Iowa Area Community College in Mason City where she received a degree as an Executive Secretary. She then went to work for Nielson’s Rating Company for three years, then worked for Mosher Door in Riceville, and was currently working for Pearce Telephone Company. Holly was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. She had many artistic hobbies, especially enjoyed making greeting cards with pictures on the computer and sending them to family and friends, and she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Tera Fox, of.Riceville, Iowa; her parents, Jerry and Madonna Fox of Elma, Iowa; three brothers, Daniel and his wife, Ellen, their children: Kelli, Sarah, Krista, Brooke and Dan; Karl and his wife, Kari, and their son, Seth, all of Elma, and Steven and his wife, Maridee, and their children, Patricia and Michael, of Mareno Valley, Cal.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 24, 2000 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery, both in Riceville. Rev. Ray E. Atwood presided and the Conway Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
