Funeral services for Kelly Carson, formerly of Mclntire, were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 18 at the Riceville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Edythe Hill officiated. Interment was in Wayne Township Cemetery, Mclntire. Lindstrom Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Kelly, 40, died at the Muse Norris Inpatient Unit in Mason City after an extended illness.

Kelly Carson was born May 28, 1959 in Riceville, the daughter of Willard and Evelyn (Erickson) Eastman. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Riceville High School. She was a graduate of Capri School of Cosmetology in Mason City.

Survivors include two daughters: Tiffany Kruse of Riceville and Cassidy McCarthy of Owatonna, MN; her father: Bill Eastman of Carpenter; two sisters: Susan Hegge of Rose Creek, MN and Billi Jo Hummel of Richardson, TX; and one brother. Jacob of Decorah.

Kelly was preceded in death by her mother Evelyn in 1997.
