Jonathan Ham Died Sunday Jonathan Ham died at his home at 1229 Kirkwood
avenue, at three o'clock Sunday morning. He was eighty years of age and
his was the first death in the family in more than forty years. He was
a resident of Johnson county sixty-five years, and was highly esteemed
by all who knew him. During the last week his sons and daughters had
all been together at the family home.
Mr. Ham is survived by a widow, Mrs. Anna Ham, and eight children:
Milton, Mrs. Coyle, Hmboldt, Iowa. Mrs. Lou Westover, Schenectedy New
York, Mrs. Lillie Hamilton of Chicago, Mrs. Carrie Zeller, of North
Liberty. Mrs. W.L.
Morgan of Iowa City, Jesse of Ryan, Iowa, John of Schenectedy, New
York.
Funeral services which will be private, will be held at the home
tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock in charge of The Reverend C. Roihn
Sherck. Interment will be in Oakland cemetery. A large circle of
friends sympathize with the family bereft of a beloved husband and
father. |
