IN SPRUCE PRODUCTION SERVICE |

Class I. men who have been accepted for limited service
in the physical examinations have been given an opportunity to
enlist with the government in the forestry service in the spruce
production in the Pacific coast states. Five have enlisted in
that service and expect to leave soon for the service. They are
Fahy L. Ambur, Howard Maris, Neal Lawrence, Harl T. Hawkins and
Carl H. Carlson. No draft has been made in that service as yet. |
