Iowa Casualties
Washington, Dec 13 - One hundred and sixty-six Iowans were
mentioned on the casualty lists today, which carried a total of
6345 names. These were divided as follows: Killed in action, 843;
died of wounds, 58; died of accident and other causes, 6; died of
disease, 312; died of airplane accident, 1; wounded severely,
2162; wounded, degree undetermined, 1349; wounded slightly, 834;
missing in action, 780. The Iowans are:
