Wife and Babes Destitute - Family of Dr. Grimm in Sad Plight at Eagle Grove
Eagle Grove, June 13 - Taking her two little children, the unfortunate wife of Dr. E. E. Grimm, a transient oculist, set forth Tuesday on the highway seeking work to support herself, and her babes. Her husband lies in jail at Clarion on a charge of practicing medicine without a license.
Grimm and his family came here several days ago, and taking apartments at a hotel lived in style. He ran a big advertising bill and succeeded in getting more clients, but not enough to defray his expenses. Finally he was arrested on the charge named. In default of bond he went to jail, while his wife started out to make a living somehow. Fortunately, she had not traveled far when she was taken in temporarily, at least, at a farm house.
Unless some one comes to the aid of the itinerant oculist, he bids fair to stay in jail until October, when the grand jury meets.
