Alfred H. Wenger & Lena M. Krueger
 
MARRIED.

Wednesday, March 24, 1909, a very pretty wedding took place at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Krueger, at their country home at 11:30 o'clock, when their daughter Lena M., was given in marriage to Alfred H. Wenger. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J.G. Draewel, of the German Baptist Church and was witnessed by only the relatives and a few close friends of the contracting parties.

After the words were spoken which made the young people husband and wife they received the congratulations of the assembled guests and the company then repair to the dining room where a sumptuous wedding dinner was served. Mr. and Mrs. Wenger were the recipients of a number of handsome and useful gifts.

During the evening a reception was held at the Krueger home and a large number of the friends gathered and spent the evening very pleasantly.

Miss Krueger, the bride, is well and favorable known to a large circle of friends, She is a very popular young lady and has fine traits of character and a loving disposition which will make her an ideal helpmate for the man whom she has chosen for her life's companion.

Alfred Wenger is a young man of sterling qualities, steady, and industrious, a faithful worker and the kind of a man that will make a success of life.  He will be a true and loving husband to the woman he has won for his wife.

Mr. and Mrs. Wenger will begin life together on the farm, a short distance south of town, where they will begin housekeeping.  May their lives be long, happy and prosperous is the wish of the ECHO.
