Week-end visitors
The Rev. and Mrs. John D. Clinton of Des
Moines were week-end visitors at the E. A. Billings home and with
other friends in Fayette. On Friday evening they showed slides at
the Billings home of interesting events and incidents that occurred
during his pastorate here, to several friends and members of the
church. REv. Clinton served the First Methodist church in Fayette as
pastor about 25 years ago. Rev. Clinton showed slides at the home of
Mrs. A. J. Fox to a group of neighbors and friends, and on Sunday
evneing to a group at the First Methodist church.
