RED CROSS DRIVE IS OPENED IN FAYETTE
Workers Named for Contacting Residents in Four
Town Areas, Downtown, and Rural.
Red Cross campaigning in Fayette for the March
fund drive opening this week as workers began a canvas of the town
and surrounding rural community according to Mrs. Lysle Wooldridge,
chaprter chairman.
In lieu of a local chairman, Mrs. A. J. Fox,
branch chairman, has appointed seven workers to assume the
responsibility of different local areas. Sue urges all residents to
contact one of the workers if they are missed during the drive.

MR. SPERRY CELEBRATES NINETY-THIRD BIRTHDAY
A party was held in the home of Mrs. A. J. Fox
on Thrusday to honor the ninety-third birthday of Mr. W. R. Sperry.
There were 18 people present. The guests had a picnic supper
followed by social evenign. Another "youngster" present for the
affiar was Mr. Walter Humphrey.

March Birthday Club Met Wtih Mrs. Fox 22
Present
The March Birthday club met Thursday with Mrs.
A. J. Fox with 21 members and one guests present. Mrs. J. D. Parker
and Mrs. C. R. Carenter were co-hostesses. Following the picnic dinner, the social
afternoon was in charge of Mrs. Alva Chase and Mrs. E. A. Billings
furnished the entertainment.
Mrs. Clair Baker of Westgate was the guest
