Mrs. O. D. Wilder of Detroit, Michigan is
visiting in the home of Mrs. A. J. Fox. She arrived Jly 4 and plans
to stay for about two weeks.

Mrs. Maude Culbertson and Miss Elsie Comely of
Cedar Rapids entertained at the Nordman restaurant in West Union
Thrusday evening. Those present were Mrs. A. J. Fox, Miss Grace
Meyer, Misses Amy Leigh and Margaret Paine, all of Fayette, and Mrs.
Clyde Blunt and Mrs. Wm. Heiserman of West Union.
Miss Bray Entertains At A Canasta Party
Miss Mila Bray of Phoenix, Arizona, who is
spending the summer months with her mother, Mrs. E. J. Bray,
entertained at a canasta party Saturday evneing with 12 guests
present.
Prizes were azwarded to marcella Blatzheim for
first prize; Mrs. A. J. Fox received second prize. Miss Ethel Nagle
received the visitors prize; traveling prize was awarded to Miss
Harriet Ranney; and Miss Dora Carter received the consolation prize.
Others present were Miss Ivabel Brause, Mrs. O.
D. Wilder of Michigan, Miss Florence Hotchkin, Miss Edna Luce, Miss
Amy Leigh Paine, and Miss Margaret Paine.
A lunch was served.
