PREPARE FOR THE LIONS CHARTER NIGHT
District Governor W. M. Blaxer Will Be
Present-Other clubs Will Be Represented
Charter Night of the recently organized Lions
Club of Fayette will be held at the Legion Hall in Fayette Thursday
evening, July 10, according to Everett Hendricks, general chairman
of the committee. Mr. Hendricks is assisted by Karl Fox, who is in
charge of banquet arrangements. William T. Diamond ticket sales and
other members of the organization.
Dinner will be served to the Lion members and
their wives as well as to delegates from 13 clubs in the surrounding
territory. The Oelwein Club sponsor of the local club will have a
large delegation present and will have a special part in the
program.
District Governor W. W. Blazer of Jessup will
be present and have a part in the program, which according to Mr.
Hendricks will be different from the usual Charter night (New Clubs)
A. S. programs.
