ILLYRIA TOWNSHIP HAS GOOD F. B. MEETING

The Illyria township farm bureau meeting was held at the Wadena Community Presbyterian church, last Thursday evening. After the regular “movies” were shown the following program was given:

Encore, Marche Polaraise Song, Irish Jubilee	Forest Wood
Encore, Under a Spreading Chestnut tree
Night in June, Sunshine	W.H.S. Girls' Glee Club
Talk	County Agent Lodwick

Mr. Lodwick summarized the year’s work very satisfactorily, giving a complete report of projects presented and plans for the ensurng year.

At the opening of the business meeting W. F. Moore was appointed secretary pro tem. The following officers were elected, President, F. J. Schroeder; Vice-president, Harold Strong; Secretary, Guy Ernst; Project Leader, Mrs. Harold Strong; Publicity chairman, Mrs. L. A. Probert; treasurer, Miss Edna Corkery.

This meeting concluded W. L. Peters’ term as president for the past four years. Although his re-election was urged by all members present, Mr. Peters felt that it was best he decline the office. Mr. Lodwick also spoke highly of Mr. Peters’ efficiency as a member of the county board.

The next meeting of the farm bureau is to be held at Illyria church on December 13. Miss Marie Gehring, Mrs. L. A. Probert, Thore Thompson and L. L. Wenger have the program in charge.
