| The Decatur County Journal Leon, Decatur County, Iowa October 04, 1888 The young "folks" on West Commercial Street met Saturday evening at MRS. BELLE HARVEY's and organized a Pocahontas Club. The following are the officers elected and installed: Powhatton, FRANK CROSS; Pocahontas, MAGGIE HURST; Keeper of the Records, OPHIE CLARK; Keeper of Wampam, ELLA FINLEY; First Scout, ED SCHENCK; Second Scout, FRANK CLARK; Prophetess, MAUD SCHENCK; First Runner, FRED CONREY; Second Runner, HARRY HARVEY; Guard of the Forest, JIMMIE HURST; Guard of the Wigwam, FLOYD HARVEY; Medicine Man, JIMMIE PENNIWELL.
