Generation No. 1

1.  CHARLES NELSON¹ MUTCHLER was born October 28, 1821 in Baton, Hanover, Germany, and died April 16, 1908.  He married DORIS HINING.  She was born March 16, 1834 in Hanover, Germany, and died April 14, 1903.

     Born in Baton, Germany, in 1921. Died at his home near Floris, IA 4-16-1908, aged 87 years. Came to this country in 1851 and was married to Dorothy Hining in 1854. 10 children were born to this union, 9 living, 6 boys, and 3 girls.  Member of the Lutheran church in Germany, but never united here.  He was a praying man and believer in Christ.  He was an upright honest man, a good father, a faithful husband and friend, and universally respected.  The funeral was conducted at  the residence by EA Hastings of Floris, and interment was at the Pierce Cem.

2.  MARGARET² MUTCHLER (CHARLES NELSON¹) was born February 01, 1871.  She married NATHAN POMROY ROBBINS March 1887 in by Squire Strickland, Davis County, IA.  He was born November 1861, and died April 14, 1931 in Floris, IA.

Children of MARGARET MUTCHLER and NATHAN ROBBINS are:

                   i.       MAYME³ ROBBINS, b. March 27, 1891.

4.               ii.       CHARLES NELSON ROBBINS, b. November 10, 1892, Ia; d. 1937, Dunnville Cem., Davis Co., Ia.

3.  GEORGE² MUTCHLER (CHARLES NELSON¹) was born January 07, 1872.  He married MAY BELLE BENGE September 1894, daughter of ALFRED BENGE and AMANDA POTTORFF.  She was born August 08, 1874, and died August 08, 1950.

Children of GEORGE MUTCHLER and MAY BENGE are:

                   i.       WAYLAND³ MUTCHLER, b. September 19, 1900, Davis Co., Ia; d. September 01, 1985.

4.  CHARLES NELSON³ ROBBINS (MARGARET² MUTCHLER, CHARLES NELSON¹) was born November 10, 1892 in Ia, and died 1937 in Dunnville Cem., Davis Co., Ia.  He married (1) DELLA M.  She was born 1890 in Ia¹, and died 1923.  He married (2) VIRGIE MAE KOEBKE, daughter of FRANK KOEBKE and LILLIE SNELL.  She was born August 03, 1902.

Children of CHARLES ROBBINS and DELLA M are:

                   i.       DONALD⁴ ROBBINS.

                  ii.       LOREN ROBBINS.

5.  DEAN⁴ ROBBINS (CHARLES NELSON³, MARGARET² MUTCHLER, CHARLES NELSON¹)  He married CARRIE LOU ROBBINS LEACH, daughter of JOY LEACH and EFFIE RICHARDSON.  She died February 14, 2000 in York, Pa.

She was born Carrie Lee Waters, and was adopted shortly after birth.
