Mrs. Delilah Leach passed away Tuesday afternoon at 2:30pm in Bouton at the home of her son, JW Leach.  She would have been 92 in January.  Funeral services will be Thurs at 2pm at the ME church in Bayard.  She is survived by one son, JW Leach.  A son, Clarence, preceded her in death.  She had spent most of her life in Bayard prior to moving to her son's home in Bouton.

Bayard's Oldest, Mrs Leach Dies - 

Mrs. Delilah Leach, Bayard's oldest resident, died Tues at the home of her son, Will Leach in Bouton.  Mrs. Leach, who would have been 92 years old next Jan 4, had gone to Bouton to spend the Christmas holidays.

Services will be held this afternoon at 2pm from the Bayard ME church.  The Rev. JD Payne will be in charge and the body will lie in state at the Starling Funeral home until the funeral.

Mrs. Leach was the widow of Frank Leach, a pioneer merchant of Bayard.  For the past several months Mrs. Leach had made her home with Mrs. Blanche McCool.
