Contributor's notes: Sarah was my great-great grandmother, and would have been17 years old in 1889. She married Justin Milo Burnham Young in 1890, so she probably didn't teach for long, if at all. She died in 1891 of complications from childbirth and is buried in St. Mary's Catholic cemetery, McGregor. After her death Justin removed to Michigan and remarried.Additional information added by S. Approved by (signed) Maple Moody, PresidentRemarks - This contract should be made out in duplicate, and one copy given to the teacher. No Board should allow a teacher to cmmence school until a written contract is properly signed by both parties.
Contributor's notes: Anna was Sarah's older sister. She was married to A.B. Hahn by 1892 so probably did not teach for long. Anna also died young, in 1900, and is buried in St. Mary's Catholic cemetery, though I am not certain if she is in the Hahn or the Cannon plot.
