Arbogast Lamm (deceased) was a native of the grand duchy of Baden, Germany. He emigrated to the United States in 1832, locating in New York State. In 1853 he came to Clayton County and settled on a farm in Wagner Township, where he resided until his death, which occurred when he was in his seventy-first year. He left a wife and nine children to mourn his loss. He was a man who had experienced many of the adversities of life, but by an indomitable will and energy had succeeed in overcoming all obstacles, and had accumulated an ample competency.
