Petitioners

A petition was sent to the Board of Railroad Commisioners, dated September 9, 1889, asking that the station on the D.M. & K.C. Railway be kept at Leslie. Over 80 local people signed the petition. This information is helpful as the federal 1890 census was destroyed.
