THE OSCEOLA DEMOCRAT

TEAM RUNS AWAY DRIVER UNINJURED

Sunday at noon a team hitched to a wagon containing a scissor grinders outfit, a sort of house on wheels used by Mr. Joe Adams in traveling all over the country, started from the south side of the square and running hard went east to the southeast corner where they turned north so abruptly that one of the horses was thrown on its knees and received a severe wound on each fore leg and finally with the assistance of some men who happened on the scene the team came to a stop. Mr. Will Coon was in the rig at the time but was not hurt. It was a lucky turn that saved both wagon and driver from serious injury.
