The
Banister Colony arrived in Cherokee County, in 1856. They settled in
Pilot township June 17, 1856. The members are listed below. In 1889, none of the people below, except G. W. Banister, were still residents in Cherokee County. Some died; Others left beasuse of Indian troubles. | |
