She died in Linn County, Iowa in 1853. In 1855 he married Sarah Ann Sparks in Tama County; she died in 1856 in Tama County, He then married Evaline Bethany Scott on Feb. 28th, 1857 in Madison Twp, Butler County, Iowa. He remained in Butler County till he died on Jun-24-1891.
