He is a typical westerner. Although he is over six feet tall and weighs 275 pounds there is not an ounce of superfluous flesh in his make-up. Mr. E. DeLong lives in Wright county, Iowa, and is a prosperous farmer. He delights to tell of this years' big crops in the west and he asserts that "times is booming." Mr. DeLong joined the 1st Colorado Cavalry and served in Missouri and in the west fighting Indians. He is commander of the Wright County Veterans' Association.
