Anne was born on Jan. 26, 1955, in Sioux City, one of four children born to John “Jack” Glaza and Martha “Bo” Glaza (Horner). She graduated from North High School in 1974. Anne was married to Ron “Corky” Gordon from 1977 to 2001, during which time they had two daughters, Elizabeth Deck (Gordon) and Kate Gordon. Her joy was further multiplied by her grandsons, Liam and Cael McGeeney. In 2007, she married Michael Greiner where they resided in Dakota Dunes, SD. They moved to Eden Prairie, MN, in Oct. 2021, to begin her fight with cancer. Anne was a devoted stay-at-home mom before owning and operating a retail store, Soccer Mania from 1993 to 1999, followed by a 16-year career at 1st Financial Bank USA.

Annie was incredibly crafty and creative. She enjoyed watercolor painting, creating beautiful wreaths, and expressing her artistic flair through cooking. Her creativity brought joy to those around her and left a lasting impression through the many things she made and shared.

Annie’s warmth and kindness touched everyone around her. She found joy in spending time outdoors, especially while walking her dog, Stella, whom she taught to hunt for shed deer antlers. She also cherished the moments spent with Michael, helping him capture the beauty of nature through his photography. Her smile could light up any room, and her laugh was truly infectious. After a long battle with cancer, she is now resting peacefully. Her memory will be cherished, and her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include: husband, Michael Greiner of Eden Prairie, MN; children: Elizabeth Deck and her husband Jon of Edina, MN, Kate Gordon and her children Liam and Cael McGeeney of Hood River, OR; siblings: John Glaza of North Sioux City, SD and Jane Collins of Omaha, NE; Michael’s children: Kristen Greiner of Lake Zurich, IL, Justin Greiner and his wife Tiffany and son Lincoln of Ramsey, MN.
