Collision at Sioux City

Sioux City, Jan. 5. – In a collision between a Northwestern switch engine and a crowded streetcar this afternoon, John McLeod, motorman, was fatally injured, T. Olson was fearfully bruised, O. M. Olson was slightly cut about the head, and the car torn to pieces. McLeod was thrown forty feet. The accident was due to McLeod’s failure to see Conductor Loveridge’s signal.
